Hope Bartimioli Thal (H.B. Thal) is a Los Angeles based composer & songwriter.

She works in a variety of rolls showing her talent and versatility. She is a composer at Joy Music House whose credits include the 2020 Oscar winning film Minari. Hope has been composing on variety of independent film projects including the 2018 LA Live Festival “Best Short Film” winner: Cat’s Outta the Bag. Hope has been working with Alex Geringas since 2019 vocal producing, music editing, and writing additional music. Her music can be heard on Dreamworks Trollstopia and Trolls: The Beat Goes on, Netflix’s I Heart Arlo series, and The Woody Woodpecker Show. Hope’s songs can be heard on all streaming platforms and most recently on ESPN. Additionally, Hope serves as the Director of Communication for The Alliance for Women Film Composers.
